When Tim Waygood asked me to write a column for The MotivAction Group website,
at first I was immensely flattered. Then of course I realised
that he had only asked me because he couldn’t afford Tom
Peters’ fee!
If
all this action in the pages all around me is exhausting
you, why not take a break and reflect with me for a moment
or two on this turbulent life we now lead?
We
are living in a revolution. We are moving rapidly from management
old-style (down-sizing, cost-cutting, rationalising) to business
leadership. Business leaders are those who grow the business,
create teams, generate creativity and innovation, motivate
others and inspire those around them with the same spirit
that animates them. They take you on an exciting journey.
Work becomes challenging and demanding but never stressful
– they make it FUN.
That’s
one reason I am such a supporter of The MotivAction Group.

- the oxygen of the human spirit – and also incentive to
go on to ever greater things. But remember, as I point out
